Parents Cooperation

Since education begins at home, a joint effort by parents and school alone will bring about all-round development of their children. Hence parents are expected:

  • To inculcate in children love for order and punctuality, sense of cleanliness and friendliness, and self-discipline.
  • To check regularly their notebooks, school diaries and report cards and to take adequate measures for the progress of their children and to supplement classroom teaching with certain amount of guidance at home, especially through conversation in English.
  • To contact the Principal or Class Teacher from time to time and discuss matters connected with the conduct and academic progress of their children.
  • To make necessary arrangements to have their children taken back home immediately after school hours.
  • To seek leave of absence only in unavoidable circumstances and that too only through written leave form (available in the school office).
  • Not to contact or disturb students during the class hours.
  • To read the rules and regulations of the school and abide by the decisions of the school; to follow the programmes of the school as per the Calendar given to parents.
  • To make it a point to meet the teachers on the first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 10.00 am for any clarifications with regard to the progress of students and not to contact teachers during class hours.
  • Not to send any jewellery, valuables, mobile phones, CD players, CDs, etc. to the school premises.
